Jake grew up and graduated high school from the small town of Lodi, WI. From there, he ventured to the University of South Dakota to follow his dream of playing division 1 golf while earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s in professional accountancy degree. He was also involved in various internships and programs within the school of business and in the university honors program.
After graduating college, Jake’s desire to move closer to his hometown and enjoy the larger city activities brought him to Milwaukee where he would begin his professional career. He worked at a large, national CPA firm where he gained vital experience in both business and individual tax & advisory services. He became known for his quick learning ability, responsiveness, positive morale, and for being a go-to person for other staff to come to for guidance.
Jake’s “not your typical accountant” persona and work ethic aligns perfectly with Edge. His goal is to not only provide the best possible client service, but to build close and lasting relationships with every client. He is eager to build his network within the focused market that Edge serves.
When away from work, Jake keeps up with his golf endeavors by competing in various amateur events and leagues throughout the summers. He also loves watching the PGA Tour professionals compete at different venues (most notably the 2021 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits). Outside of golf, Jake enjoys cheering on the various Milwaukee sporting teams and spending time with friends and family.
